The Opportunity
The Finance Systems Transformation Programme is a major change initiative that supports Arup’s Global Finance Vision. The programme will transform our future finance capabilities by enabling significant operational change through the worldwide implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM across Arup.
Delivering a modern cloud-based finance foundation will allow data and processes to be unified to enhance decision-making, increase efficiency and improve user experience, strengthening our organisation for the future.
The Programme will be delivered by a dedicated, collaborative, cross-functional and multi-location team working closely with our Finance team, our wider business and the implementation partner to ensure a successful outcome.
The Project Manager will be part of a team responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery management of the Oracle Fusion Finance application implementations. Working in close partnership with the Business Solution Architect and the System Integration (SI) partner, the role will oversee planning, coordination, governance, and delivery execution across all Fusion Finance workstreams, ensuring the programme is delivered on time, to scope, and within agreed budget.
The role will act as the primary point of accountability for programme delivery management, integrating functional, technical, and change activities into a coherent delivery plan. The ability to manage complex dependencies across functional, technical, data, and business teams and to challenge to ensure the optimal solution
The successful candidate will bring strong project management capability, hands-on experience of Oracle Finance Fusion implementations.

Planning & Delivery:
Own integrated planning and end-to-end delivery of Fusion Finance workstreams, including scope, milestones, deliverables, dependencies and critical path.
Coordinate day-to-day delivery activities across functional, technical, data, and testing resources within the workstream.
Track progress against plan, proactively managing issues, risks, and dependencies to ensure delivery ‑on time.
Work in conjunction with other programme management to ensure the full scope of the programme is efficiently controlled
Functional Lead Partnership:
Work closely with the Functional Leads and functional experts to translate functional scope into clear delivery plans and executable activities.
Ensure functional design, build, testing, and deployment activities are appropriately sequenced and resourced.
Support the Functional Leads in managing priorities and resolving delivery constraints particularly ensuring that the EPM and ERP milestones are harmonised.
Governance, Reporting & Controls:
Manage workstream governance in line with programme standards, including RAID logs, status reporting, and milestone reviews.
Prepare and present regular workstream status updates to the Programme Directors and programme forums.
Ensure adherence to programme change control and approval processes and work with the Finance PMO team to ensure consistent approaches and communications
Resource & Vendor Coordination:
Coordinate internal resources working with system integrator teams, and third-party vendors working within the workstream.
Monitor delivery partner performance against agreed plans and escalate issues as required.
Support onboarding and alignment of new resources into the workstream.
Integration & Dependency Management:
Identify and manage cross workstream and programme dependencies, working with peer PMs, workstream leads and the programme PMO.
Identify and manage dependencies between EPM modules and ERP Finance processes (e.g. GL, COA, master data) and with the People Fusion HCM programme
Coordinate integration points between EPM and ERP, and downstream reporting platforms.
Work with Data and Technical Leads to ensure data flows and cutover activities are aligned across workstreams.
Testing & Deployment Support:
Plan and manage workstream activities across all testing phases (System, Integration, UAT).
Coordinate defect management, readiness assessments, and entry/exit criteria for each testing stage.
Support cutover planning, go live, and early life support activities for the workstream.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
Act as a key point of coordination between business stakeholders, Functional Leads, Technical Leads, and delivery partners.
Ensure clear communication of workstream plans, risks, decisions, and progress across business and delivery teams.

Is this role right for you?
· Proven experience project managing large‑scale Oracle ERP and EPM implementations
· Strong experience delivering multi‑workstream programmes within complex organisational environments.
· Demonstrated ability to work in partnership with senior functional and technical leads.
· Strong understanding of ERP and EPM delivery lifecycles, including design, build, test, deploy, and hypercare.
· Experience working with system integrators and third‑party delivery partners.
· Strong financial management skills, including budget tracking and commercial awareness.
· Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and governance skills.
· Experienced in global finance transformation programmes and working with finance teams is highly desirable.
