The Opportunity
This is your chance to support our environment local team in Madrid, as well as contributing to the successful delivery of projects across Europe.
As an Environmental Trainee at Arup, you will:
- Support the Department in drafting environmental and social due diligences.
- Support the department in preparing Impact Assessments, both for plans and projects.
- Assist in preparing reports, environmental and social action plans and documents related to project financing.
- Participate and support the rest of the team in environmental and social technical advisory tasks.
- Participate in projects with national and international agents.
Does this role inspire you?
We are looking for someone proactive and dynamic that is willing to develop their career in the Environmental sector. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- A degree in the field of environmental sciences preferably and/or a specific Master's degree in the environment or sustainability.
- Fluent levelof spoken and written English and Spanish skills.
- Interest in working in consulting and starting a career in the environmental/social field.
- Oral and written presentation skills.
- Organized person with communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
Conditions
- Be enrolled in the university to be able to establish an agreement with the University
- Immediate incorporation
- Duration: 6 months of extendable internship (possibility of joining after completing the internship)
- Schedule: From 20 to 40 hours per week to be defined with the student
- Remuneration: will depend on the student's level of training and the number of hours established.
