As Research and Insights Manager, in our Marketing, Communications and Business Development Team you will provide actionable fact-based insights that inform strategic marketing and business decisions. This role is responsible for researching market trends, competitors, and client needs to identify new business opportunities and support client-specific research requirements.

The opportunity

  • Drive the development and execution of strategic market research initiatives across APAC, ensuring alignment with business objectives and integrating into enhancing business decision-making
  • Manage and conduct primary research activities such as surveys, focus groups, interviews, to gather actionable insights
  • Perform thorough secondary research by analysing industry reports, market databases, academic publications, and competitor performance data to support informed business decisions.
  • Synthesise information from various sources to provide a comprehensive understanding of market trends, dynamics, and the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams ensuring research insights are aligned with business goals and applied appropriately to inform business decisions including presenting research and analysis to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Incorporate new techniques and technologies, including the application of AI in the delivery of valued research and insights.

Is this role right for you

  • Significant experience in market research, industry analysis and customer analytics with a proven track record leading market research and industry analysis initiatives relevant to the AEC sector. Experience and knowledge of the Transport and infrastructure sector across Asia and Australian and New Zealand highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey research findings to diverse audiences and build strong, highly collaborative working relationships with peers, leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
