  • You’ll lead activities that directly improve service stability, data accuracy and the overall digital experience for thousands of colleagues worldwide.

Growth and development opportunities

  • Build deep expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, and modern Change Enablement — all high‑demand skills in the global market.

  • Gain exposure to complex service environments, cross‑regional collaboration and emerging delivery models.

  • Develop leadership capability through chairing CAB/ECAB, guiding others, and contributing to governance and process maturity.

  • Influence strategic improvements and help shape Arup’s future ways of working in IT service management.

Key responsibilities

  • Strengthen Configuration Management processes, governance and data quality.

  • Improve CMDB accuracy, service mapping and dependency modelling.

  • Enhance Change Enablement through automation, risk evaluation and streamlined workflows.

  • Provide insights and reporting to support decision‑making and risk management.

  • Coordinate or support high‑risk or complex changes and facilitate virtual CAB/ECAB meetings.

  • Partner with a wide range of technical and operational teams to solve problems and improve service outcomes.

What a typical day might look like

  • Reviewing CMDB dashboards and identifying data quality or service mapping improvements.

  • Meeting with engineering or application teams to resolve configuration issues or enhance discovery and modelling.

  • Preparing assessments and insights for upcoming changes, followed by facilitating a Virtual CAB session.

  • Supporting a continuous improvement initiative — for example refining workflow automation, tuning risk scoring logic or updating process documentation.

  • Collaborating with colleagues across regions to solve issues, validate data or test enhancements in ServiceNow.
