The Talent Acquisition (TA) Lead plays a pivotal strategic and operational role, partnering closely with the APAC Regional TA Operations Lead and the APAC Head of Talent Acquisition. In this role, you will lead sourcing operations, workflows, and analytics while delivering a consultative, service oriented experience to our business and People partners.
You will act as a subject matter expert, developing and sharing knowledge within your team, and collaborating with leaders and cross functional partners to design and deliver system and process improvements. Your work will directly support evolving business needs, drive operational excellence, and enable Arup’s broader Talent Acquisition strategy across the region.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact by:
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting the growth and development of TA Specialists and Coordinators across APAC region.
- Monitoring team performance and capacity, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and development, including delivery of annual performance appraisals
- Providing and tracking sourcing metrics, KPIs, and TA insights to demonstrate recruitment effectiveness and inform decision making
- Championing diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the talent acquisition lifecycle, helping to attract and engage candidates from a wide range of backgrounds
- Staying ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and industry best practices in talent sourcing and acquisition
- Contributing as an active member of the TA Leadership SteerCo, sharing insights and solutions to address opportunities and challenges while driving strategic initiatives forward
Is this role right for you?
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience within Human Resources, with strong capability in Talent Acquisition, HR/People Operations, Project Management, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience leading change and successfully implementing new processes across an organisation
- A self directed, detail oriented problem solver with a track record of designing and improving processes
- Creative and resourceful, with experience influencing and communicating effectively at all levels of an organisation
- Ability to consolidate and analyse data from multiple platforms to generate meaningful insights
- A relationship builder who acts as a trusted partner by understanding needs and delivering value added solutions
- Ability to influence and inspire through subject matter expertise and compelling communication, driving positive and sustainable change
