The Opportunity

As an Electrical Engineer you will play a key role within the Focus Market team, delivering data centre projects as part of a multi‑disciplinary team. You will manage and coordinate the production of design calculations, drawings, specifications, tender documents, and feasibility studies, ensuring timely delivery within agreed cost and quality constraints. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will supervise engineers, CAD/BIM staff, and graduates, liaise with internal disciplines and external stakeholders, and represent the electrical discipline in project meetings. The role requires a relevant degree, professional qualification, and involvement in innovative design development under the technical guidance of senior leadership.

Is this role right for you?

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), professionally qualified/chartered or aspiring to registration, with 6+ years’ experience; data centre or mission‑critical experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of local and international codes, data centre standards, fire and authority requirements
  • Proven capability in producing electrical designs, calculations, specifications, plant room layouts, schematics, and hand sketches for BIM
  • Hands‑on experience with engineering tools such as ETAP, Amtech, Dialux, Revit, and AutoCAD
  • Experience in concept development, sustainability‑led design, multi‑disciplinary coordination, and supervision/mentoring of junior staff.
  • Involvement in FATs, site inspections, commissioning, BOQs, cost estimates, and successful project delivery.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines with excellent communication skills.
  • Based primarily in Mumbai with collaboration across India, international travel, and strong engagement with clients and industry stakeholders.
