The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Project Manager to join our growing Mid-West Programme & Projects team. This role is well-suited to individuals with a strong interest or background in commercial management, contract administration, project controls, and PMO functions, who are looking to contribute to high-profile infrastructure programmes in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will be delivering project and commercial management and administration services across major infrastructure projects.

You will support and deliver commissions across all stages of the project lifecycle, working closely with senior leaders and clients across the public and private sectors. This is a great opportunity to shape and implement effective project management approaches while developing your skills alongside a diverse and experienced team. You will manage commercial and project controls activities including budgeting, cost management, forecasting, and performance reporting. You will also lead on day-to-day contract management activities, such as change management, early warnings and risk management, documentation and reporting, and invoicing and payments.

Is this role right for you?

We are seeking an individual with experience in a project/commercial management role, a background in commercial management of project delivery and a proactive and autonomous approach to project delivery. You will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant discipline.

  • Knowledge and experience of managing NEC4 suite of contracts.

  • Experience supporting or delivering projects in the infrastructure or built environment sectors.

  • Digitally savvy, with skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate is desirable).

  • APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent, with a plan to achieve Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) status is also desirable.
