As a Fire Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering technically excellent fire safety solutions that are tailored to our clients’ unique needs and project requirements. Working closely with senior members of the team, you will help develop fire strategies, assess design performance, and document technical outcomes to support project delivery and coordination. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex and high-profile projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across the region.

The Opportunity

  • Lead and deliver a diverse range of fire engineering projects, providing technical expertise and strategic guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Develop fire engineering strategies, analyse design performance, and prepare high-quality reports, technical documentation, and recommendations for clients.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and external stakeholders to deliver innovative and effective fire safety solutions.

  • Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery while meeting quality and financial targets.

  • Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their professional development and promoting best practices within the team.

Is this role right for you?

  • A recognised tertiary qualification in Engineering, specialising in Fire Engineering or a related discipline recognised by JBPM.

  • Proven experience in Fire Engineering within a consulting environment, with a strong understanding of fire safety principles, regulations, and project delivery.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to a variety of stakeholders.

  • Strong organisational and project management capabilities, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work on time and to budget.

  • A collaborative, ethical, and proactive approach, combined with a commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and maintaining the highest standards of integrity.
