The Opportunity

As an Electrical Engineer specialising in Data Centres, you will support the design and delivery of electrical systems within mission-critical facilities. Working alongside senior engineers and multidisciplinary project teams, you will contribute to the development of innovative, reliable, and scalable electrical solutions from concept design through to construction support. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your technical expertise, gain exposure to complex data centre projects, and develop your career within a collaborative engineering environment.

• Support the delivery of electrical engineering designs for data centre and mission-critical projects, including concept and detailed design phases.
• Prepare electrical calculations, reports, specifications, technical documentation, and design deliverables under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical engineers, architects, project managers, and clients to coordinate project outcomes.
• Participate in site inspections, construction-phase services, project meetings, and quality assurance reviews to ensure project success.
• Contribute technical input to proposals, bids, and project opportunities while maintaining accurate project records and documentation.

Is this role right for you?

• A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering and approximately 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience, ideally within a consulting environment.
• Experience contributing to electrical design projects within building services, infrastructure, data centres, or other mission-critical facilities.
• Strong foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including power distribution, standby generation, UPS systems, and related infrastructure.
• Proficiency with relevant electrical engineering design software and technical tools, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
