As part of our multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to diverse projects across Spain and beyond, collaborating with national and international teams.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Structural Engineer who is passionate about challenging design problems and has a strong interest in innovation, optimisation and high-quality delivery.

As a Structural Engineer at Arup, you will:

  • Deliver structural design calculations and packages for complex infrastructure projects

  • Work closely with wider Arup teams and multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated, high‑quality engineering solutions.

  • Perform advanced structural and numerical analyses, producing calculations, drawings, specifications, and clear technical reports.

  • Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture.

  • Contribute to technical excellence, digital innovation, and knowledge sharing within Arup’s global structures and bridges/civil structures community

Does this role inspire you?

We also value:

  • A Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or an equivalent discipline.

  • 3-6 years’ experience in structural design on medium to large-scale infrastructure projects, including underground structures.

  • Experience in structural and numerical analysis using industry‑standard software.

  • Solid engineering judgement with planning, organisational, and time‑management skills.

  • Interest in digital engineering and BIM, including digital workflows for design, modelling and drawing delivery.

  • Knowledge of Sofistik would be a significant advantage.

  • Ability to work effectively in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams.

  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
