The Opportunity
Arup’s Resilience, Security and Risk (RS&R) practice is seeking an Associate level Physical and Electronic Security Consultant/Engineer to help grow and lead our security offer in India. This is a senior opportunity to shape a regional team, build client relationships and deliver a diverse pipeline of work across sectors including commercial, government, transport, aviation, sport and culture, and energy.
Working closely with RS&R leadership in the UK and Asia-Pacific, you will align India’s growth strategy with Arup’s global ambitions while providing technical, commercial, project and people leadership. You will take responsibility for business development, project delivery, team growth and the development of a strong market presence for Physical and Electronic Security in the region.

Is this role right for you?
We'd like to hear from you if you:
- Are an Associate level Consultant/Engineer with strong technical and design delivery experience in Physical and Electronic Security across a broad range of sectors.
- Have a minimum of 8 years’ relevant professional experience in security consultancy, engineering or design delivery.
- Are a chartered professional, or someone working towards relevant professional membership, with a degree or equivalent background in security, engineering or a built environment discipline.
- Bring demonstrable experience applying international and region-specific security standards, guidance and best practice through the risk-based design lifecycle.
- Possess strong project management and delivery capability, from client engagement and bidding through to delivery, close-out, quality assurance and commercial management.
- Bring excellent leadership, communication and client relationship skills, with the ability to grow a team, develop new business and provide technical guidance to colleagues and clients.
