The purpose of this role is to provide discipline leadership for logistics within infrastructure planning and design projects, ensuring that supply chain and operational considerations are integrated early to deliver practical and efficient solutions. It also supports the growth of Arup's Advisory Services logistics and supply chain capability through client engagement, opportunity development, and the delivery of high-value consulting services.

The Opportunity

  • Lead logistics and supply chain planning across infrastructure projects, ensuring operational requirements are incorporated into project design and delivery.
  • Develop logistics strategies, operational concepts, and technical assessments to support efficient infrastructure and supply chain outcomes.
  • Build strong client relationships, support project delivery, and identify opportunities to grow logistics and supply chain advisory services.
  • Actively establish internal and client relationships to support project delivery, business development, and the growth of logistics and supply chain advisory services.
  • Contribute to team strategy, capability development, and industry leadership through resource planning, professional development, and thought leadership initiatives.

Is this role right for you?

  • Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience in Operations Consulting, Logistics and Supply Chain Consulting roles, project environments or relevant industry experience.
  • Professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP/AIPM, PRINCE2, or CILT are preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex logistics, supply chain, or infrastructure projects from concept through to implementation.
