The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and innovative professional to accelerate the career growth and contributing to the delivery of cutting-edge building services projects. You will support our MEP designers and BIM professionals in the development and coordination of BIM models, as well as in the automation of the design workflow for a wide range of high-profile projects.

As a Junior BIM Technician at Arup, you will:

• Work on BIM models for complex construction projects using software such as Revit
• Model systems and elements according to the requirements of the BIM execution plan in Revit
• Transfer specialized disciplinary skills within the BIM model under the direction of the reference Engineer.
• Take ownership of the Information management and data extraction from BIM models.
• Continuously monitor and update BIM models based on project progress and changes requested by engineers.
• Develop technical drawings for submission, analysis and documentation starting from BIM models.

Does this role inspire you?

We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic BIM Technician. We also value:

• Excellent knowledge of Autodesk REVIT MEP.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience, into the design or drawing of MEP installations.
• Strong written and spoken English (C1 level).
• Experience in creating REVIT families (valued)
• Knowledge of BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud (valued).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite. (valued)
• Knowledge of Solibri/Naviswork and Dyanmo (valued).
• Attitude of taking independent initiative, exhibiting creative problem-solving, eagerness to learn, while remaining dedicated to teamwork.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
