The Opportunity

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across Arup's international network, contributing to projects delivered in diverse cultural and technical environments.

The successful candidate will be comfortable collaborating with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders from different countries and backgrounds, bringing a global mindset to engineering challenges.

As a Mechanical Engineer at Arup, you will:

• Contribute to the design and development of HVAC, fire and plumbing systems for a range of building types, including commercial, residential, hospitality, data centre, and educational projects.

• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other specialists to deliver integrated and sustainable building solutions.

• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, drawings, and technical specifications for a variety of international projects.

• Work effectively with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams across Arup's global network, supporting the delivery of projects in different countries and markets.

• Support senior engineers in the coordination and delivery of projects, ensuring quality, innovation, and technical excellence.

• Contribute to the development of sustainable and low-carbon design solutions that create positive impact for clients and communities.

Does this role inspire you?

We're looking for someone passionate about sustainable building design and innovative engineering solutions. We also value:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Industrial Engineering or Industrial Technologies).

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the design, calculation, sizing, and specification of HVAC, or/and ph, fire systems for tertiary and complex building projects.

• Technical expertise in building design and construction projects.

• Basic knowledge of Revit.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural and international environments.

• An interest in international projects and collaboration with geographically dispersed teams.

• Fluency in English (C1 level).
