The Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Public Health & Fire Engineer will lead the design and delivery of Public Health and Fire Engineering systems on complex multidisciplinary projects, ensuring high-quality technical solutions from concept to construction. The role involves developing engineering designs, reviewing calculations and specifications, coordinating with Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Civil and Architectural teams, and managing project deliverables within programme and budget requirements. The individual will also lead client engagements, technical reviews, site inspections, commissioning activities, and mentor junior engineers while promoting innovation and sustainable design practices across global projects.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in water supply, drainage, sewage treatment, fire protection, utility infrastructure and sustainable water management systems, including specialised Data Centre applications. They should have comprehensive knowledge of National Building Code (NBC), NFPA standards, Indian plumbing and fire safety regulations, local authority requirements, municipal approval processes, utility standards and international building services codes, enabling them to deliver compliant and efficient engineering solutions across diverse projects.
Is this role right for you?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Public Health and Fire Engineering consultancy
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary projects from concept design to completion.
- Strong sector experience across Commercial, Residential, Mixed-Use, Hospitality, Healthcare, Industrial, and Data Centre projects.
- Experience with utility infrastructure, external works, and civil engineering interfaces.
- Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent) is desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
