This is an APAC regional role within the Finance function, working closely with the APAC CFO, Finance leadership, Geography Finance teams and business and service leaders across the region. This role will strengthen Finance Business Partnering across APAC by bringing together financial and operational information to provide clear, forward-looking insights that support business performance and executive decisionmaking. A key focus will be improving the quality, consistency and effectiveness of management information across the region by moving beyond reporting outcomes to help leaders understand what is driving performance, what actions are required, and where risks and opportunities emerge.
We are looking for someone who will combine strong financial acumen with commercial thinking, analytical capability and executive communication skills, and will be comfortable working across multiple businesses, functions and geographies in a complex matrix environment.
The Opportunity
- Partner closely with the APAC CFO and regional Finance leadership to provide high-quality financial analysis, insights and decision support across key business priorities.
- Strengthen the effectiveness of Finance Business Partnering across APAC, working with Geography Finance teams across ANZ, Southeast Asia and East Asia to improve the consistency and quality of financial insights provided to leadership.
- Develop and continuously enhance APAC management reporting and executive presentations, ensuring financial information is clear, insightful, forward-looking and focused on the decisions leadership needs to make.
- Translate financial and operational data into compelling business narratives, highlighting key performance drivers, risks, opportunities and recommended actions.
- Provide deeper analysis across revenue, profitability, utilization, pipeline, investment, costs and other key financial and operational performance indicators.
- Support forecasting, planning and performance-management activities by challenging assumptions, identifying emerging trends and improving transparency around forecast risks and opportunities.
- Work across Finance, Businesses, Services and Geographies to connect financial performance with underlying commercial and operational drivers.
- Support the APAC CFO and leadership team on strategic reviews, business performance discussions and management forums, including preparation of analysis and executive materials.
- Develop consistent analytical frameworks, KPIs and reporting approaches that improve comparability and decision-making across APAC.
- Leverage data, visualization, automation and emerging technologies to improve the quality and efficiency of financial analysis and management information.
- Partner with the Head of FP&A, Head of Financial Projects & Initiatives and Heads of Geographies on initiatives requiring strong financial insight, business partnering and cross-functional coordination.
- Help embed a culture of proactive Finance Business Partnering where Finance moves beyond explaining historical performance to actively supporting better business decisions.
Is this role right for you?
- Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience across FP&A, commercial finance, Finance Business Partnering, financial analysis or related finance leadership roles within a complex multinational organisation.
- Strong understanding of financial performance management, including planning, forecasting, profitability, revenue, costs and key business-performance drivers.
- Proven ability to partner with senior executives and business leaders, challenge constructively and influence decision-making.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect financial outcomes to underlying business and operational drivers.
- Excellent analytical capability and demonstrated experience converting complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Strong executive communication and financial storytelling capability, with experience preparing materials for CFOs and senior leadership teams.
- Comfortable operating across multiple businesses, functions and geographies within a matrix organisation.
- Strong knowledge of data visualisation and analytical tools; experience with Power BI or similar tools would be advantageous.
