Associate Specialist - Payroll

About the Role:
You will manage the region’s monthly payroll processing with the payroll vendor capturing all changes and deviations advised by the contact,. Accountable to verify and validate all payroll input to ensure accuracy and in compliance and in sync with the internal audit framework. You will report to the Associate Manager - Payroll.
You Will:

Process monthly end-to-end payroll of multiple countries following established global policy, process and compliance framework.

Responsible and accountable to verify and validate all monthly payroll input

Accountable to ensure compliance to payroll related regulatory/ statutory requirements in each jurisdiction.

Manage relationship with HR, finance, regional heads, banks and third-party vendors
-
Manage workflows to capture all pay elements (Hires, exits, increments)
-
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll following Payroll Schedule/ Calendar observing the Service level agreement.

Prepare Payroll Calendar and update checklist.

Support internal and external audit requirements.

Support analytical review of payroll transactions to identify and rectify errors and omissions.

Implement agreed continuous improvement opportunities for assigned processes

Document work practices and support streamlining processes to improve efficiency.

Manage all end-to-end escalation issues for Level 2 payroll support.

Create payroll-related reports ensuring data confidentiality.

Handle PO billing or any payment execution for country payroll.

Update all Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to ensure document is up-to-date.

Review timesheet submissions for accuracy and completeness; troubleshoot errors and make necessary adjustments.

Calculate employee payroll deductions, including taxes and benefit premiums.

Reconcile payroll before transmission and validate confirmation reports.

Ensure tax treatment of employer paid benefits.

Use a hybrid work schedule
You Have:
-
2-3 years of related payroll experiences in BPO/HR Shared Service industry.
-
High School Diploma.
-
English language competency.
