About the Role:

You will increase the student population by promoting CIMA's qualification, products and services following CIMA's business plan and B2C strategy, focused on Pathways and our Finance Leadership Programme (FLP). You will report to the Associate Manager - Markets, India as an individual contributor. You will use a remote work schedule, based in Bangalore.

You Will:

  • Work with the Line Manager to implement the market development strategies and plans across the organisation.
  • Follow up on prospects leading to successful student recruitments generated from the respective market for Pathways and FLP through B2C route.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build business relationships with relevant partners.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting, including cold calling on allocated data, to produce new student leads and conversion opportunities.
  • Promote CIMA to potential learners and ensure CIMA is the choice of professional qualification for students to pursue their career in Management Accountancy.
  • Maintain relationships with tuition providers/partners/employees and help identify new businesses and market intelligence.
  • Review and maintain top accounts list in Client Relationship Management (CRM)/Other systems.
  • Maintain student attrition at levels indicated based on regional strategy.
  • Achieve student progression rates defined by the regional strategy for the relevant markets.
  • Provide information and reports promptly and and accurately.
  • Conduct analysis of ongoing market and competitors to gauge positioning of CIMA in the market.


You Have:

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any equivalent field
  • 2+ years' working experiences in Business Development
  • Experience in education industry
  • Ability to speak Kannada is an advantage.
