This role defines how product strategy translates into scalable, production-ready solutions that deliver measurable value to airlines and the broader retailing ecosystem.
The Director partners closely with Technology, Architecture, Product, Commercial, Finance, and Strategy stakeholders to ensure Pricing Engine solutions are competitive, operationally sound, and aligned with enterprise goals and evolving industry needs. This role leads high-performing teams, drives portfolio prioritization and execution discipline, and represents ATPCO externally as a thought partner in airline pricing and modernization. The Director exercises senior-level judgment across complex product and technical trade-offs and is accountable for delivery outcomes from concept through scale to retirement.
Own Pricing Engine Strategy and Delivery
- Define, align, and champion the strategic vision, roadmap, and development priorities for ATPCO’s Pricing Engine solutions in support of enterprise goals, ATPCO product needs, customer needs, and airline industry trends.
- Lead ongoing market discovery to identify unmet customer needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities — translating market evidence into actionable strategies and investment priorities.
- Champion a disciplined approach to buyer and user insights, including win/loss analysis, to continuously validate product-market fit and inform portfolio decisions.
- Balance near-term delivery needs with longer-term platform evolution
- Own the full lifecycle—from concept to scale to retirement—with a focus on long-term value creation
Translate Strategy into Scalable Solutions
- Lead the translation of product strategy into scalable, secure, and high-value solution development outcomes in partnership with Technology and Product. This includes identifying investment requirements, skillset and knowledge transfer requirements, and working with appropriate leadership to justify/acquire appropriate resources.
- Guide end-to-end product development for Pricing Engine capabilities, ensuring business requirements, user needs, data integrity, technical feasibility, and delivery readiness are aligned.
- Partner with engineering and architecture leaders to shape solution direction, development sequencing, and modernization plans that support long-term sustainability and performance.
- Apply rigorous prioritization frameworks that evaluate opportunities based on market impact, strategic alignment, technical feasibility, and business value — ensuring the team works on the most impactful problems first.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, cost effective, accurate, and production-ready
Lead Across the Organization
- Operate as a unifying force across several internal stakeholder groups: Product, Technology, Commercial, Strategy, and Finance
- Partner with Commercial and Finance to develop and validate business cases, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies that maximize portfolio value and market adoption.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on portfolio direction, risks, and opportunities
- Ensure alignment from roadmap to delivery to customer outcomes
- Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, customer-centricity, Lean thinking, and Agile execution.

- Engage with airlines, technology partners, and standards organizations to identify industry challenges and influence scalable approaches to next-generation pricing solutions.
- Help shape ATPCO thought leadership through customer engagement, strategic forums, workshops, white papers, and external presentations as appropriate.
- Translate external market and industry developments into actionable product and development priorities for the Pricing Engine portfolio.
- Define and refine market positioning for the Pricing Engine portfolio, ensuring solutions are clearly differentiated and compelling to target buyer and user personas.
