WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As an Analyst on our TSG Product Management team, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving one or more technology products. You’ll serve as the go-to resource for troubleshooting user issues, tracking performance metrics, and executing product updates. You’ll also drive small enhancement projects and bring insights into how our products can evolve to better serve Bain teams.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Product Maintenance & Analytics (50%)
- Respond to user questions and troubleshoot product issues, identifying root causes and escalating when needed
- Perform complex manual updates and optimize the product based on incoming requests and independent judgment
- Conduct periodic user satisfaction surveys and summarize feedback
- Track key performance metrics and extract actionable insights
- Test updates and enhancements to ensure quality and usability
Manage Enhancement Requests (40%)
- Gather and refine user requirements for small to medium enhancement requests
- Translate needs into user stories, process flows, and other documentation
- Collaborate with internal technical teams and external vendors to implement solutions
- Keep stakeholders informed throughout the process
Develop Domain Knowledge (10%)
- Deepen your understanding of the system and domain to work more independently over time
ABOUT YOU
- 2+ years of professional experience
- At least 1 year in a systems-related role
- Practical experience gathering, interpreting, and validating user requirements
- Ability to quickly grasp new tools, concepts, and technologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive mindset and creative problem-solving ability
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
