WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
Bain Capability Network’s Private Equity Group (BCN PEG) is the expert client delivery arm delivering on specialist workstreams across the private equity value chain, enabling our clients to make key investment decisions. Our expertise lies in addressing critical diligence questions involving a range of research instruments spanning from quantitative research/ surveys and outside-in diagnostics.
Our teams work in a fast-paced environment delivering consistent and impactful results at scale. We operate across all three regions (APAC, EMEA and Americas) from our 3 office locations – India, Poland and Mexico. We work across industries, including Technology, Consumer Products & Retail, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Financial Services and Advanced Manufacturing & Services.
We provide an opportunity to solve challenging business problems in a dynamic set-up working closely with global Bain teams, acting as a thought-partner with daily deliverables.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Case delivery: Quantitative research/ Surveys
- Prepare research designs, sampling plans, and survey instruments for both B2B and B2C surveys
- Provide inputs to stakeholders on best approach, vendor choice and cost overview of the projects
- Deliver end-to-end on research projects, including, case team briefing, fieldwork monitoring, fraud/ quality control, maintaining vendor relationships and reporting
- Conduct survey data analytics to identify patterns and trends using tools like MS Excel
- Perform thorough quality checks in their work including pressure-testing the insights
- Create high-quality presentations, dashboards, and written outputs by leveraging rigorous data analysis and synthesizing insights across project workstreams to directly address key hypotheses
Case delivery: Qualitative research
- Conduct primary research interviews and calls with senior stakeholders (e.g., CXOs, functional leaders, industry experts) and synthesize the insights
- Manage set-up and delivery of AI-led/ enabled interviews and synthesis of insights
Beyond case delivery
- Stay ahead of latest industry trends and new tools and technologies in quantitative primary research
- Motivate team members, boost team morale and exhibit role model behavior
- Facilitate cross-sharing of learning/knowledge and tools within and across teams
- Leverage opportunities to provide training, coaching and mentoring to fellow team members
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree in any field with a strong academic performance
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a global multinational corporation, with exposure to management consulting and business analytics, or an MBA/ post-graduate with 2+ years of relevant experience (consulting background preferred)
- Excellent written and spoken English (C1/C2 level)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Learning agility to internalize new ways of working, pick new analytical tools, and adapt to ever changing project expectations and client needs
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate clearly, and present to senior stakeholder
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, SPSS and AI tools is a plus
- Prior exposure to quantitative research in CP&R, technology, or healthcare is preferred
- Prior exposure to primary qualitative research is a plus but not mandatory
- Prior experience with secondary research using public or subscription databases is a plus but not mandatory
This role follows a hybrid model, with an expectation of approximately 3 days per week in the office.
