WHO YOU’LL WORK WITHYou’ll join Bain’s Customer Practice, a global team focused on helping clients unlock growth through customer strategy, transformation, and operations. The practice develops and commercializes Bain’s intellectual property and solutions across areas including Customer Experience, Marketing, and Commercial Excellence.
Over the past two decades, Bain has built industry and capability-based practices that are central to how we serve clients and deliver results. As part of the Customer Practice, you’ll work closely with Partners, practice leaders, and colleagues around the world to bring innovative solutions to market, shape client opportunities, and drive commercial growth.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAMAs a Customer Commercial Enablement Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial success of the Customer Practice globally. Working closely with practice leadership and client teams, you’ll help accelerate growth by shaping commercial strategy, supporting business development efforts, driving proposal development, and helping bring new solutions and capabilities to market.
This role combines strategic thinking, commercial execution, stakeholder management, and innovation, offering the opportunity to work across industries, solutions, and geographies.
WHAT YOU’LL DOClient Development- Support practice leadership in developing regional business plans and budgets while ensuring alignment with global priorities
- Build a deep understanding of Bain’s customer-related offerings, methodologies, and solutions and help bring them to market effectively
- Develop commercial growth plans at the intersection of industry expertise and customer solutions
- Partner with Bain leaders to shape compelling, solution-led proposals for strategic client opportunities
- Support end-to-end bid management activities throughout the business development lifecycle
- Collaborate with marketing teams to strengthen lead generation and commercial activation efforts
- Lead the creation of high-impact proposal materials and client-facing content that translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives
- Connect client opportunities with the most relevant experts, capabilities, and solutions across Bain
- Leverage AI and technology-enabled approaches to improve commercial effectiveness and operational efficiency
- Provide feedback to product and solution teams on innovation roadmaps, helping prioritize capabilities with the greatest commercial impact
- Serve as a key link between client teams and solution teams, ensuring market feedback informs future development
- Lead go-to-market efforts for new products and capabilities, driving awareness and adoption internally and externally
- Support the planning and execution of commercial team priorities and strategic initiatives
- Coordinate across a multidisciplinary global team to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective collaboration
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance team performance and commercial impact
- 5+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, strategy, or a related advisory environment
- Experience working with consumer-facing industries such as Financial Services, Retail, Telecommunications, Energy, or similar sectors
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Strong consulting toolkit, including structured problem solving, strategic thinking, and client-focused solution development
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial mindset with a focus on driving business results and client impact
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and AI-enabled tools
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across functions, teams, and geographies
- Fluent English language skills
- Experience in customer-related domains such as Customer Experience, Marketing, Commercial Excellence, or Growth Strategy
- Experience supporting go-to-market initiatives, commercial acceleration, or business development efforts
- MBA or Master’s degree
- Experience working with AI tools, low-code platforms, or no-code automation solutions
- Experience building AI-enabled tools, scripting, or coding
- Flexibility to collaborate across global teams and time zones
- Ability to meet local office attendance requirements and working model expectations
