Process Overview

The CSW-ETI team leads the development of the next generation of integrated technology solutions for the company’s consumer and wealth management client-facing channels. Manages the Bank’s award-winning websites and e-Commerce initiatives. Responsible for the technology that drives key client-facing platforms and channels across Retail, Preferred, and GWIM including our Digital, Online, Mobile, Contact Center and Voice, Payments and Commerce, Fraud, Financial Center and Architecture Technologies.

Job Description

The individual will be responsible for building and managing monitoring tools infrastructure at the bank. This will require an understanding of logs and index creations along with an ability to interact with the users. Any experience in configuring Spunk / Glass Box and previous experience of programming in Java / Python will help. This is a hands-on individual contributor role.

Responsibilities

Engineer required for building and administration of Splunk / Glass Box environment and performing operational support and automation activities

Interact with technology and business groups as needed to collect the requirements, user signoff, etc.

Requirements

Education: B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)

Certifications, If Any: None

Experience Range: Around 5 yrs

Foundational skills:

  • Should be able to maintain large multi-site Splunk clusters
  • Worked on Splunk deployments like Universal Forwarder installations, configuration of Deployment Servers, Indexers and Search Heads.
  • Good understanding of Glass box architecture including Analyzers and probes
  • Ability to onboard application to monitoring tools like Splunk and Glassbox
  • In-depth knowledge of Unix/Linux platform with web app (java, .net) hosting experience
  • Experience in migration of Splunk data from one instance to another instance
  • Develop dashboards to monitor real time logs, server health check etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of Regular Expressions
  • Ability to create alerts to monitor crucial applications
  • Hands on exposure in Shell scripting and Unix/Linux/Windows System Administration
  • Good communication skills and flair to drive end to end involving Vendors, System Administrators and other stake holders.
  • Diverse and hands-on engineering and troubleshooting skills
  • Should have flair for innovation and zeal to work on automating a process

Desired skills:

  • Exposure to Python
  • Experience in writing automation scripts
  • Knowledge in Java script
  • Exposure to Cribl, OTEL
