Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview

Global Markets Technology & Operations provides end-to-end technology solutions for Markets business including Equity, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies. In addition, GMT&O provides Sales, Electronic Trading, Trade Workflow, Pricing, and Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client service processes for Trading, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management businesses. ERTF – CFO is responsible for the technology solutions and platforms that support Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Group, including Global Financial Control, Corporate Treasury, Financial Forecasting, Enterprise Cost Management, Investor Relations and Line of Business Finance functions.

Job Description

The candidate should have good SQL development, design skills, ability to explore and adopt new technologies at faster phase. He should have good experience in performance tuning and data design.

Responsibilities

• Strong Data design and performance tuning experience in SQL
• Work with onsite team to determine needs and apply/customize existing technology to meet those requirements
• Deliver high quality code to meet application standards
• Coordinate with global business users during entire project / program
• Follow Scrum process & able to focus on Operational Excellence.

Requirements

Education: B.E./ B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech/BSC/MSC/BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)

Certifications if any: NA

Experience Range: 5-10years

Foundational skills*

• Hands-on Software Development experience in MS SQL Server Programing, Performance tuning and SQL query refactoring, SQL Server ETL Tools covering (SSIS Packages, SSRS and other data transformation tools and utilities).
• Strong hands on experience in dealing with file transfer protocols like FTP, SFTP and DTS. Ability to analyze, report and fix the problems in feeds and data transfer.
• Hands on experience in Web Based technologies using ASP .Net, JavaScript, JQuery and HTML5 to handle the web pages in this application.
• Good understanding on OOPs fundamentals, Data structures, Design patterns.
• Ability to analyze, design, develop and troubleshoot new and existing applications
• Strong SQL and related DB skills – indexing, transaction management (MS SQL)
