RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and deliver complex software requirements to accomplish business goals.

  • Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.

  • Code solutions, unit tests, and ensure the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application /system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces.

  • Familiarize with development and testing practices of the bank.

  • Contribute to story refinement and define requirements.

  • Design and develop solution architectures to scale backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and rest specifications.

  • Utilize full stack engineering, Linux, coding, and debugging.

  • Design and develop production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies including Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment.

  • Design and develop new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies including Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka.

  • Use Core Java development skills, including Spring framework implementation to build mission-critical banking applications.

  • Use Microservice container to develop strategic banking applications.

  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related; and

  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

  • Must include 2 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Designing and developing solution architectures to scale backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and rest specifications;

  • Utilizing full stack engineering, Linux, coding, and debugging;

  • Designing and developing production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies including Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment;

  • Designing and developing new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies including Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka;
