Role Description:

We are looking for a professional with experience of improving processes to deliver on a dynamic and varied portfolio of Fixed Income Operations change initiatives and transformation programs.

Specifically, the successful candidate will be aligned to Fixed Income Trade Control. The role requires operational acumen to deliver the Fixed Income Operational transformation agenda, adding value to Operations and the business though a mixture of strategic and tactical initiatives.

The role will help drive robust procedures and deliver communication routines to ensure initiatives are successfully delivered across the organisation. The role will also have a high level of stakeholder exposure across Operations, Technology, Sales & Trading, Finance, and Risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Gathering and Analysis: Identify and document business needs by working closely with stakeholders. Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team. Ensure all parties have a common understanding of the project objectives.
  • Process Design, Mapping and Documentation: Process design assessments to recommend enhancements. Develop detailed process maps to illustrate current workflows. Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in current processes.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze business data to understand trends, patterns, and issues. Develop reports and dashboards to measure process performance and help stakeholders make informed decisions.
  • Solution Design and Validation: Propose and evaluate solutions to meet business needs. Conduct testing and validation of new processes or systems before full implementation.
  • Change Management and Training: Help plan and execute changes in business processes or systems, e.g. due to regulatory change or to improve processes. Create documentation and provide training for end users.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven track record in operations change & transformation and Trade Control/Middle Office functions within Global Markets
  • Deep understanding of the operational needs in the Fixed Income business and pain points of different asset class segments
  • Ability to face off with senior business heads at a strategic level while understanding the detail
  • Ability to conduct presentations with emphasis on storytelling to convey and influence the case for change
  • Expertise in using data analytics and reporting tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI)

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the enterprise
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to review and highlight project risks and issues and partner on mitigating solutions
