Job Description:
This EMEA Recruiter position will sit in the Global Human Resources organisation within Global Talent Acquisition. It will provide strategic staffing support for Bank of America's Global Risk & Compliance function, as well as supporting hiring within other enterprise control functions as needed.
This position will support hiring for Global Risk positions from entry-to-senior levels across multiple locations within EMEA. This is a high impact role supporting a fast-paced and critical organization within the bank. The successful candidate must possess mature and sound judgment, integrity, and self-confidence with a desire to succeed and a passion for providing a high standard of service and adding value to the business areas that they support.
This job is responsible for managing the end-to-end hiring process which includes understanding business needs, developing and executing a sourcing strategy, screening/interviewing candidates, selling the bank to prospective candidates, managing hiring processes and controls and candidate offer management. Key responsibilities include partnering with senior leaders within the business and across Human Resources (HR) to achieve hiring objectives for assigned business units.
Whilst being aligned to the Risk & Compliance organisation primarily, this role will require someone to operate within a team and to support hiring across other lines of business as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts intake sessions with hiring managers to understand the business needs and manages requisition workbench within the applicant tracking system.
- Understands the talent pool in which they are operating, advising business stakeholders on the market and availability of talent/how to attract the right talent.
- Creates a pipeline of candidates with desired skills by developing and executing a sourcing strategy, cold calling, and candidate assessment through in-depth phone screens/interviews to identify, attract, and recruit suitable talent.
- Coordinates the interview process with hiring managers and business leaders and provides feedback from screening interviews to prepare hiring managers.
- Ensures compliance with all legal aspects of recruiting and candidate selection.
- Helps with the closing of hires, partnering with Compensation and HR teams to ensure offers are appropriate and attractive.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven track record of professional, full-cycle recruiting experience in a matrixed organisation.
- Strong track record of sourcing, engaging and hiring talent across Risk, Compliance and other control functions of a large, complex organisation
- Proven experience in sourcing talent in competitive markets.
- Must have client management experience, with the ability to influence and consult at up to senior executive.
- Experience developing and executing internal and external sourcing strategies.
- Experience leading candidate selection and assessment through interviews, line of business engagement, skills assessments and offer negotiations.
- Ability and desire to stay abreast of market conditions and use data to inform decisions.
- Excellent candidate management capabilities, including managing complex salary negotiations from pre-qualifying to “close.”
- Strong process and compliance mindset with keen attention to detail, ensuring all control steps of hiring process are executed flawlessly and in line with process/compliance requirements.
- A team player who operates effectively within a group and demonstrates flexibility to jump in and support teammates/other business areas as demand requires.
- Exceptional communications skills and ability to navigate a large, complex, global organisation, managing multiple stakeholders across business areas and across geographies. Sound judgement on when to engage, escalate and manage expectations.
