Position Summary:

This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies. Seeking experienced Feature Lead to support and manage new system solution development, enhancements, application support and system maintenance for the Commercial credit card platform. To deliver technical initiatives and strategic technology solutions to strengthen our commitment to delivering cohesive technology in support of our Small Business card products. This role will deliver change to enhance the benefits and services we provide through our Small Business card clients. This position will provide the ability to make a difference working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a continuous opportunity to grow and learn with an experienced and cohesive team. This role entails managing vendors as a product owner for two agile teams; providing innovative solutions and working with other application teams to deliver for our LOB partners for additional loan growth, improve client satisfaction, and to increase revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery
  • Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality
  • Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt
  • Guides the team on work breakdown and execution
  • Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria
  • Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team
  • Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in technology industry
  • Experience with credit card technology strongly desired, TSYS experience preferred
  • Ability to identify and engage key stakeholders and facilitate to drive progress and resolution
  • Excel in time management and simultaneously manage multiple yet unrelated events
  • Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality.
  • Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.
  • Work with vendor or application areas to ensure successful implementation
  • Write technology specifications including data rules based on business requirements and existing portfolio data.
  • Document system requirements, stories, features and solutions, test plan execution and recommendations for requirements to ensure system reliability, usability, risk avoidance and required functionality is critical.
  • Creates test scripts, conditions account and validates output
  • Consistently execute business process governance and process policy deliverables to meet Enterprise Change Management framework
  • Ability to establish and cultivate relationships with business partners both internally and externally
  • Strong Project Management Skills with Leadership capabilities to drive complex solutions across multiple applications and service providers.
  • Capability to distill complex information from various sources to formulate a strategic plan of execution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including senior management
  • Team player who is comfortable leading cross-functional teams inclusive of business, operations, and technology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver under pressure
  • Individual contributor with the ability to execute with limited direct

Desired Qualifications

  • Prefer TSYS or other credit card application experience and of multiple modules on TSYS, out of the 30+ modules
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to orchestrate and drive multiple project teams/work streams to meet project deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, advanced skills with Excel and MS Project a plus
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Possess intellectual curiosity
  • Technical data analysis skills using tools like Bacardi, SQL, SAS, Excel and Access
