Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex requirements to accomplish business goals.

  • Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.

  • Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset.

  • Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.

  • Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.

  • Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.

  • Design, develop, and maintain large scale mobile applications using Kotlin and Java.

  • Perform web service integration using REST, JSON, HTML, XML, and JavaScript to enable secure and seamless communication between mobile applications and backend services.

  • Engineer and perform continuous integration and continuous deployment and distribution using build tool, version control, and testdriven development tools including git, Android Studio, and UNIX.

  • Design test-driven automation frameworks using JUnit, Mockito, and Espresso to ensure code quality and reliability.

  • Analyze app performance and improve efficiency using tools including Android profiler.

  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related: and

  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

  • Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining large scale mobile applications using Kotlin and Java;

  • Performing web service integration using REST, JSON, HTML, XML, and JavaScript to enable secure and seamless communication between mobile applications and backend services;

  • Engineering and performing continuous integration and continuous deployment and distribution using build tool, version control, and test-driven development tools including git, Android Studio, and UNIX;

  • Designing test-driven automation frameworks using JUnit, Mockito, and Espresso to ensure code quality and reliability; and,

  • Analyzing app performance and improve efficiency using tools including Android profiler. Employer will accept pre- or post-Master's degree experience in meeting the minimum requirements.

US - CA - San Francisco - 315 Montgomery St - 315 Montgomery (CA5704) Pay and benefits information Pay range $181,000.00 - $191,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
