Responsibilities
Join Bank of America’s award-winning Global Payments Solutions (GPS) business and help shape the treasury strategies of some of France’s leading multinational corporations. As a Director, Treasury Sales Officer based in Paris, you will be responsible for delivering integrated treasury solutions to existing and prospective French-headquartered Large Corporate clients. The role requires a senior sales professional with a well-established network across the French corporate treasury and finance community, and a proven track record of originating, developing and deepening complex client relationships. Leveraging Bank of America’s global network and market-leading capabilities, you will advise clients on optimizing liquidity, enhancing working capital efficiency, streamlining payment flows, and supporting international growth ambitions. Your coverage will span Cash & Liquidity Management, Transactional FX, Merchant Services, Commercial Cards and Trade Finance, enabling you to deliver tailored solutions that address complex treasury challenges and create meaningful value for clients. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with senior client stakeholders and partner closely with Corporate Banking teams, GPS Product Managers, and Fulfilment & Service teams to deliver seamless client outcomes, drive growth, deepen relationships, and strengthen Bank of America’s position as a leading transaction banking partner in France.
Client Coverage & Business Development
Serve as the primary GPS contact for a portfolio of large corporate clients and prospects across France.
Develop and execute strategic client plans designed to deepen relationships, increase wallet share and generate sustainable revenue growth.
Identify, originate and convert new treasury opportunities across cash management, liquidity, payments, working capital, FX, commercial card and trade finance solutions.
Build and maintain senior-level client relationships across treasury, finance and executive stakeholder groups.
Treasury Solution Advisory
Consult with clients to understand their strategic priorities, operational challenges and treasury needs.
Design and deliver tailored treasury solutions leveraging the full capabilities of Bank of America's Global Payments Solutions platform.
Lead client presentations, treasury reviews, RFP responses, pricing discussions and solution negotiations.
Act as a trusted advisor by sharing industry insights, market developments and best practices.
Portfolio Management & Revenue Delivery
Manage treasury revenue performance and business development activities across an assigned portfolio.
Deliver agreed revenue, new business, product penetration and client engagement objectives.
Maintain robust sales pipeline discipline, forecasting and opportunity management practices.
Drive responsible balance sheet growth and profitability improvement across client relationships.
Partnership & Collaboration
Partner closely with Corporate Banking, Investment Banking and Global Markets teams to deliver coordinated client coverage.
Collaborate with Product Management, Client Delivery, Implementation, Operations, Compliance and Risk partners to ensure seamless client outcomes.
Provide market intelligence and client feedback to support product innovation and business strategy.
Leadership & Team Development
Coach and develop Treasury Sales Analysts, Associates and junior Sales Officers.
Share best practices and contribute to the development of the broader GPS franchise across the region.
Support regional and global strategic initiatives while promoting a culture of teamwork, excellence and responsible growth.
Risk & Governance
Ensure all business activities adhere to regulatory requirements, internal policies and risk management standards.
Maintain strong conduct, compliance and operational risk discipline in all client interactions and business activities.
What we are looking for
Significant experience in treasury management, transaction banking or treasury sales within a leading financial institution, ideally covering large corporate clients in France.
Strong knowledge of cash management, liquidity solutions, commercial cards, trade finance, foreign exchange and working capital solutions.
Demonstrated success in managing and growing relationships with large corporate clients.
Deep understanding of the French corporate banking landscape and treasury market.
Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of revenue generation and business development.
Ability to engage and influence senior client stakeholders, including Treasurers, CFOs and Finance Directors.
Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
International treasury management experience supporting multinational corporate clients.
Knowledge of evolving payments, liquidity and treasury technology trends.
Experience leading complex, multi-product treasury opportunities across multiple jurisdictions.
Demonstrated leadership, coaching and talent development capabilities.
