Job Description:
Ideal candidates are currently serving as an Application Manager, Senior Application Control Specialist, Technology Service Manager, Production Services Manager, Technology Delivery Manager, or similar role within a banking, payments, capital markets, or highly regulated technology environment.
Responsibilities:
- Own the operational health, stability, resilience, governance, and compliance of critical business applications.
- Lead incident, problem, and service management activities to maintain high-quality production services.
- Deliver technology initiatives including regulatory remediation, application modernization, infrastructure transformation, platform upgrades, and operational resilience programs.
- Partner with regulators, governance functions, risk partners, and business stakeholders to drive technology and regulatory commitments.
- Develop technology roadmaps focused on modernization, risk reduction, automation, efficiency, and lifecycle management.
- Manage vendor relationships, governance activities, product lifecycle initiatives, and service performance.
- Lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across technology, risk, compliance, infrastructure, and business organizations.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience supporting mission-critical applications within banking, financial services, payments, capital markets, or other regulated industries.
- Strong experience in Application Management, Production Services, Application Support, or Application Control functions.
- Proven experience delivering technology, infrastructure, regulatory, or transformation initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of technology governance, operational risk, controls, compliance, audit requirements, and vendor management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred Skils:
- Experience supporting payments, transaction banking, treasury, clearing, settlement, or commercial banking platforms.
- Prior engagement with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) or other financial regulators.
- Experience in operational resilience, cybersecurity, technology risk management, and regional technology environments.
