To be successful as a Full Stack Developer you should have experience with:

Technical Leadership:

  • Architect and design scalable microservices using Spring Boot and cloud-native patterns.
  • Lead code reviews, establish coding standards, and ensure best practices across teams.
  • Make critical technical decisions on framework selection, design patterns, and system architecture.
  • Drive adoption of modern development practices (TDD, DDD, clean architecture).
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers on advanced Java concepts and cloud technologies.

Development & Implementation:

  • Design and develop complex enterprise applications using Java 11/17+, Spring Boot 2.7/3.x.
  • Implement microservices architecture with Spring Cloud (Gateway, Config, Discovery).
  • Build RESTful APIs and event-driven systems using Spring WebFlux, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
  • Develop cloud-native applications with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Implement comprehensive testing strategies (JUnit 5, Mockito, TestContainers, integration testing).

Cloud & DevOps:

  • Deploy and manage applications on GCP using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Design CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Optimize application performance and scalability in cloud environments.
  • Ensure security best practices and compliance requirements.

Core Java Expertise:

  • Must have hands-on Java development (Java 8+ features, streams, lambdas, modules).
  • Advanced Spring ecosystem (Boot, Security, Data JPA, Cloud).
  • Deep understanding of JVM internals, garbage collection, and performance tuning.
  • Expert-level knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices.
  • Proficiency with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and dependency management.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Proven experience leading development teams.
  • Strong communication skills for stakeholder management.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint planning.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

This role is based in Pune.

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

Accountabilities

  • Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
  • Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
  • Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
