This is an exciting opportunity to join us as an AVP - Investments and Credit Risk Manager Private Bank. You will cover risk oversight from a credit risk sanctioning, investments risk and portfolio perspective. You will also provide underwriting coverage working alongside the senior Risk sanctioner and also provide investments and credit collateral risk/derivatives margining oversight support. You will assist the local Risk team and Finance/Reg Reporting teams with local and global portfolio risk reporting requirements.

To be successful for the role, candidates should possess the following skills or experience:
- Risk sanctioning/credit underwriting experience
- Strong understanding of lending value methodologies for various financial asset types and derivatives margining methodologies
- Strong understanding of Asian financial assets and markets
- Strong portfolio reporting and data analytical skills

Purpose of the role
To support the Risk Function in delivering it’s objective of safeguarding the bank's financial and operational stability by proactively identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring risks across various business units and activities.
Accountabilities
- Development of strategic direction for risk, including the implementation of up-to-date methodologies and processes.
- Management of the risk department, including oversight of risk colleagues and their performance, implementation of risk priorities and objectives, oversight of department efficiency and effectiveness.
- Relationship management of risk stakeholders, including identifying relevant stakeholders, and maintenance of the quality of external third-party services.
- Adherence to the Risk policy, standards and frameworks, and maintaining a robust control environment.
