Step into the role of AVP Large Holdings- Remediation related to Major Shareholding / Disclosure of Interest / Major Holdings. The candidate will have a strong understanding of Long, Short and Takeover Panel (TOP) reporting requirements, coupled with hands-on expertise in interpreting regulatory rules, monitoring positions and ensuring timely and accurate disclosures. AVP will act as a subject matter expert partnering closely with Compliance, Legal, Trading and Technology teams to ensure the firm meets its global disclosure obligations.

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:

  • Manage end-to-end Major Shareholding/Major Disclosure processes across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Oversee monitoring and reporting of Long, Short and TOP positions, ensuring timely and accurate filings.

  • Review, validate and submit disclosure filings within regulatory timelines.

  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on disclosure processes.

  • Act as primary liaison for issuer queries, regulatory audits and ad-hoc information requests while maintaining confidentiality.

Desirable skills sets:

  • Hands-on experience with major shareholding/disclosure of interest, shot position reporting and Takeover panel reporting.

  • Good knowledge and understanding of Equity & Equity related products and Fixed Income Securities.

  • Familiarity with Long, Short and TOP reporting standards.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory systems and position monitoring tools, with an analytical approach and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and regulatory liaison.

  • Ability to work independently while mentoring and guiding junior team members.

This role is based out of Pune.

Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.

Accountabilities

  • Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
  • Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
