Embark on a transformative journey asSenior Platform Engineer – Vice President, where you'll spearhead the evolution of our Reference Data Services function. You must be technically strong hands-on engineering leader to join our Dart platform team, which provides cloud and on-prem infrastructure to front-office developers (quantitative and strategy teams). This role involves engineering leadership, platform development, and stakeholder engagement across both cloud and on-prem environments. You’ll focus on building, supporting, and scaling platform capabilities across. Role requires collaborating closely with internal teams and with internal consumers including front-office developers, hence awareness of financial services data needs, and how the organization functions, will offer key advantage and set you up for success.
To be successful as a Senior Platform Engineer – Vice President, you should have experience with:
- Proven experience in software/data engineering; ideally in platform or infra roles.
- Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with Java is a plus.
- Deep experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, Kinesis, Lambda, ECS, IAM, KMS, Api Gateway, Step Functions, MSK, Cloudformation etc.).
- Passion for being hands-on while also enabling and growing a small engineering team.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Experience with on-prem Hadoop and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cost management and optimization tools, organizational constructs in AWS.
- Knowledge of how quantitative or front-office developers operate is a strong plus.

This role will be based in our Pune, India office.
Purpose of the role
To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.
Accountabilities
- Build and maintenance of data architectures pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete and consistent data.
- Design and implementation of data warehoused and data lakes that manage the appropriate data volumes and velocity and adhere to the required security measures.
- Development of processing and analysis algorithms fit for the intended data complexity and volumes.
- Collaboration with data scientist to build and deploy machine learning models.
