Step into the role of Prime Brokerage Middle Office where you will have a strong understanding of cash equities products and hands-on expertise in trade lifecycle management, reconciliation processes, and client servicing. This role demands proficiency in managing operational risk, ensuring accurate trade capture, and maintaining robust controls across multiple systems. The BA4 will act as a subject matter expert partnering closely with Front Office, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to deliver seamless operational support for Prime Brokerage clients.

  • Manage end-to-end trade lifecycle for cash equities, including trade capture, amendments, and settlement monitoring.

  • Perform daily position and cash reconciliations across internal and external systems, ensuring timely resolution of breaks.

  • Oversee client reporting and ensure adherence to SLAs for reconciliation and settlement processes.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve operational issues and mitigate risk exposure.

  • Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to system enhancements for efficiency and scalability.

This role is based out of Chennai.

Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.

Accountabilities

  • Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
  • Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
