Join us as a Business Intelligence Analyst and step into a role where your technical expertise and problem‑solving skills directly shape the way our Wealth Management & Investments teams make decisions. In this hands‑on, high‑impact position, you will design and deliver intuitive, web‑based MI and analytics solutions that empower over 1,200 colleagues across the business. Your work will help senior leaders, Relationship Managers and front‑office teams understand their performance, optimise productivity, and serve clients more effectively.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will combine creativity with technical excellence—building engaging user interfaces, crafting insightful dashboards and ensuring a seamless user experience across all our reporting platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with UX/UI specialists, front‑end developers, technology partners and business stakeholders, creating tools that bring data to life and support confident, strategic decision‑making.

You will play a vital part in shaping our BI landscape, owning development work from end to end, and ensuring that reporting is reliable, scalable and beautifully designed. To be successful as a Business Intelligence Analyst, you should have experience with:

• Designing intuitive, user‑friendly web interfaces and building responsive front‑end components using modern frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue

• Applying good analytical and numerical skills to translate complex data into clear, insightful reporting using SQL, Excel and front‑end MI tools such as Tableau

• Developing accurate, scalable MI solutions from end to end, ensuring consistency, quality and alignment with user needs

• Working collaboratively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, communicating insights clearly and adapting to varied audiences across the front office and infrastructure teams

Some other highly valued skills may include:

• Experience with ETL processes, data modelling, business analysis or financial modelling

• Familiarity with AGILE ways of working, BI infrastructure, and modern development tools such as GitLab

• Good understanding of operational models, governance frameworks and risk and control standards

• Knowledge of Wealth Management or broader Financial Services environments

This role is based in London or Glasgow.

Purpose of the role

To support the bank's decision-making processes by providing timely, accurate, and insightful information through designing, developing, and maintaining management reports and dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends across various business units.

Accountabilities

  • Design and development of comprehensive reports and dashboards using various data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Design, development and implementation of automated report generation processes for improved efficiency and timeliness.
  • Identification and analysis of business requirements to define report content and format.
  • Maintenance and updating of existing reports and dashboards to reflect changing business needs, including co-ordination of reporting template releases and related administrative tasks.
  • Development of robust processes & controls for collating input data & seeking signoffs as required.
  • Engagement with stakeholders as needed to ensure up to date data is incorporated into reporting.
