What will you be doing?

Barclays Services LLC seeks Assistant VP, IT Business Analyst in Whippany, NJ:

  • Work with Business Owners and partnership stakeholders to identify and document the technology requirements and translate them to the Scrum Team to complete development work.

  • Work with security and architectural teams to ensure the development of all features follow standard risk and control guidelines.

  • Work with the performance engineering team to ensure applications’ availability and responsiveness meets performance guardrails.

  • Utilize IT engineering concepts, computer information systems and related IT tools and technologies.

  • Create user stories in accordance with agile guidelines, define acceptance criteria, review test evidence and sign off feature release.

  • Responsible for ensuring all requirements are captured, dependencies are identified, and priority and sequence of work is communicated to the team.

  • Create process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.

  • Responsible for business outcomes and features that are clearly identified and recorded for each deliverable.

  • Responsible for ensuring detail of the Agile User Stories meets the needs of the Agile Scrum Team for them to complete development to the Product Owner expectations.

  • Work in coordination with the Agile Coach, peer review stories for other Scrum Teams to ensure that BTG standards are being met across the vertical.

  • Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.

  • May telecommute pursuant to company policies. [Hybrid role]

Minimum Salary: $150,550.00 per year

Maximum Salary: $155,000.00 per year

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by the identification of business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.

Accountabilities

  • Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
  • Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
  • Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
  • Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
  • Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
