Join Barclays as a Corporate Actions Investment Analyst, where you will play a key role in managing end‑to‑end processing of corporate actions and private‑equity events across our global client base. In this role, you will oversee daily activities, coordinate information flows, and ensure accurate and timely execution of events ranging from general meetings and voluntary actions to complex private‑equity capital calls and distributions. You will act as a subject‑matter expert, supporting process improvements, testing new functionalities, and maintaining strong communication with bankers, custodians, shared‑service teams, and clients.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with:

  • Strong expertise in corporate actions, demonstrating experience in a similar role and confidence handling both standard and complex event types.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, enabling you to coordinate effectively across internal and external partners.

  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively, ensuring smooth processing while contributing positively to team delivery.

  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving, supporting accurate event setup, reconciliation, and issue resolution.

  • Fluency in English, allowing you to manage communication and documentation to a high standard.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Working knowledge of Avaloq, which would support efficient processing and system navigation.

  • Experience with reconciliation workflows, helping you manage cash and securities differences effectively.

  • Familiarity with private‑equity event processing, including capital calls, distributions, and fund‑related corporate actions.

Purpose of the role

To support PBWM with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution.

Accountabilities

  • Support with day-to-day Private Bank and Wealth Management initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution with regards to accounts, products and services.
  • Support the management of the banks client relations to clearly identify their needs and provide a service that meets expectations.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
  • Development and implementation of Private Bank and Wealth Management procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Development of reports and presentations on Private Bank and Wealth Management performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Private Bank and Wealth Management Services.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Private Bank and Wealth Management efficiency and effectiveness.
