Technical Analyst

Join us as a Technical Analyst, where you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering change across our Digital Channels and Payments teams. In this role, you’ll work across both business and technical domains—supporting system evaluations, working with data, and translating detailed requirements into clear, testable technical specifications.
You’ll help ensure our Corporate Products and Services are enhanced effectively by defining robust functional and non‑functional requirements, supporting agile delivery processes, and contributing to programme‑level governance and oversight.
You’ll collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, working with data, platform technologies and underlying systems to support high‑quality delivery. You’ll also help shape roadmaps, coordinate demand, and ensure alignment to strategic priorities across multiple programmes.
To be successful as a Technical Analyst, you should have experience with:
- Business or technical system evaluation experience in a large‑scale technical environment with consistent experience translating business requirements into clear, testable technical requirements.
- Ability to write SQLs to query large datasets in an efficient manner with the experience or familiarity with Database , Linux, ApaaS, and network technology requirements.
- Experience with requirements definition processes (functional and non‑functional), with the capability to support teams in shaping accurate and comprehensive documentation.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Good data insight capabilities and ability to present data insights to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Supporting demand processes and coordinating interlock and planning with requesting programmes.
- Product knowledge of IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and its product suites.

This role will be based in Knutsford.
Purpose of the role
To support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by the identification of business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.
Accountabilities
- Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
- Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
- Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
- Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
- Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
- Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
