To be successful in this role, you should have below skills:

  • .NET, .NET Core, and C# for enterprise application development.

  • Strong experience in development of REST APIs using ASP.NET Core as per API standards.

  • Strong experience in development using OOPs concepts, SOLID design principles, Dependency Injection etc.

  • Working experience in development for infrastructure e.g. Active Directory, Exchange, Entra ID, Exchange Online , using .net Core and PowerShell

  • Experience in Development of high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and optimized software solutions.

  • Experience in working with any message bus(Kafka/Redis)

  • Ability to design enterprise level solutions for infrastructure.

  • Ability to technically guide the team and help/troubleshoot issues to resolve it.

  • Strong working knowledge of Gitlab/Stash Bitbucket, familiar with pull requests and code review.

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.

Some other highly valued skills may include below:

  • CI/CD pipelines, Git, and test automation.

  • Event-driven architecture and microservices design principles.

  • Design PoCs, architecture reviews, and continuous improvement.

This role is based in Pune office.

Purpose of the role

To ensure that services provided by BX, or third parties are delivered in compliance with Barclays Policy and Standards and meet contractual agreements relating to cost quality and control.

Accountabilities

  • Identification of improvement areas within service delivery processes and procedures to remain efficient.
  • Collaboration with various teams to promote alignment between service delivery solutions and the bank's objectives.
  • Execution of training and support initiatives to improve the service quality provided by colleagues.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to communicate service delivery performance and any resolve any potential issues.
  • Development and maintenance of service level agreements (SLAs) by conducting regular reviews to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
  • Management and monitoring of the banks operational team, through the utilisation of data and technology and the alignment of SLAs and KPIs, to ensure that service level agrees are met.
  • Implement BX and / or Third-Party Service Management in compliance with Barclays policy and Standards, escalating variance or issues in accordance with governance requirements.
