In this role, you’ll work at the forefront of Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio innovation, helping shape how AI‑driven automation and digital solutions are designed, prioritised, and adopted across the organisation. You’ll act as the critical bridge between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring solutions are aligned to real colleague problems, measurable outcomes, and enterprise governance standards.
You’ll be embedded in a programme operating at genuine enterprise scale, with high visibility and tangible impact. To be successful as a Business Analyst, you should:
- Demonstrate strong experience in business analysis across digital, data, or automation initiatives, ideally within Microsoft Viva, M365, Power Platform, or AI‑enabled solutions.
- Be confident eliciting, analysing, and documenting requirements using a range of techniques (workshops, journey mapping, user stories, process modelling) across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Translate colleague and business needs into clear problem statements, functional requirements, and value hypotheses that inform solution design and prioritisation.
- Work closely with developers, solution architects, and product owners to ensure requirements are feasible, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards and target architectures.
- Support delivery of automation use cases, helping define conversation flows, triggers, data needs, success metrics, and adoption considerations.
- Apply strong analytical thinking to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and productivity improvement across end‑to‑end colleague processes.
- Help define and track benefits, KPIs, and outcomes, ensuring solutions deliver measurable value to colleagues and the wider organisation.
Other highly valued skills include:
- Familiarity with concepts such as conversational journeys, intent definition, escalation paths, and responsible AI considerations.
- Understanding of enterprise integration landscapes, including systems such as ServiceNow, Workday, or Microsoft Graph, from a requirements and dependency perspective.
- Exposure to governance, risk, compliance, and data protection considerations within large, regulated organisations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and align multiple teams around shared outcomes.
- A structured, inquisitive mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly as Copilot and AI capabilities evolve within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Purpose of the role
To support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by the identification of business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.
Accountabilities
- Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
- Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
- Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
- Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
- Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
- Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
