Join us as an Investment Operations Senior Specialist. In this role, you will report into the Investment Head, working as a core member of the investment team and acting as a subject matter expert on technically focused initiatives. You will play a key role in supporting investment activity through structured project delivery and close collaboration across functions.

The role has a strong technical project focus, requiring you to work closely with Technology and other partner teams to translate business requirements into effective, well‑controlled solutions. You will support investment operations, including settlements and custody processes, while contributing to process improvement, escalation management, and stakeholder communication.

This role is well suited to someone with solid investment and operational experience who is comfortable navigating complex environments and driving delivery through strong collaboration.

To be successful as an Investment Operations Senior Specialist, you should have:

  • Proven experience in investment activities, with a strong understanding of investment and operational processes.
  • Solid project management experience, including defining business requirements and working closely with Technology teams.
  • A good understanding of settlements, including dependencies, controls, and operational considerations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and manage expectations across teams.

Some other highly valued skills and experience include:

  • Experience working with Avaloq, particularly in an investment or operations context.
  • Hands‑on experience in escalation management, identifying issues and driving resolution across multiple teams.
  • A track record of process improvement, focusing on efficiency, control enhancement, or operational resilience.
  • Experience in custody management, including asset servicing and related operational processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to operate confidently in both English and French.

Purpose of the role

To support PBWM with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution.

Accountabilities

  • Support with day-to-day Private Bank and Wealth Management initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution with regards to accounts, products and services.
  • Support the management of the banks client relations to clearly identify their needs and provide a service that meets expectations.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
  • Development and implementation of Private Bank and Wealth Management procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Development of reports and presentations on Private Bank and Wealth Management performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Private Bank and Wealth Management Services.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Private Bank and Wealth Management efficiency and effectiveness.
