To be successful as a "Business Analyst", you should have experience with:
Basic / Essential Qualifications :
Strong business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process mapping and translating business needs into actionable outcomes.
Proven experience in process improvement and optimisation, identifying inefficiencies and driving standardisation to improve consistency and control.
Hands-on experience with automation and digital tooling (e.g. workflow automation, data analysis tools, or low-code platforms) aligned to continuous improvement objectives.
Prior process and task automation experience (robotics, workflow, BPM, document processing, AI enabled automation).
Ability to spot inefficiencies, manual touchpoints, and opportunities for automation or standardisation.
Monitor automation solution performance to identify opportunities for optimization that meets the banks performance standards.
Define and track KPIs related to automation effectiveness, uptime, throughput, and ROI.
Develop process and task automation business cases, ROI models and value realization frameworks for automation initiatives.
A proactive problem solver, who can work under their own initiative.
Desirable skillsets / good to have :
Experience working within Agile delivery environments, partnering with Product Owners, engineers and stakeholders to shape and deliver change.
Knowledge of data analytics and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, SQL, Excel advanced analytics) to support insight-led decision making.
Experience in financial services / Transaction Banking, including understanding of operational processes, controls, and regulatory considerations.
Familiarity with UiPath or any other RPA tool would be a plus.
Experience in process mapping using Blueworks or similar tools.
The location is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by the identification of business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.
Accountabilities
- Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
- Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
- Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
- Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
- Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
- Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
