Step into the role of Data Analyst - CB&P CDO at Barclays, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future. In this pivotal role you will manage operations within a business area and maintain processes, risk management initiatives, and compliance with relevant regulators. You will focus on supporting and strengthening data governance and improving the quality, accessibility, and integrity of enterprise data. The role partners with business and technology teams to support NFRR(Non-financial Risk Reporting), deliver actionable insights, support regulatory compliance, and enhance data management capabilities within Barclays.

- Support data governance initiatives by maintaining high standards of data quality, lineage, and metadata management, and NFRR reporting across business domains.
- Analyse complex datasets using SQL, Python, and cloud-based technologies to identify trends, resolve data issues, and provide meaningful business insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define data requirements, improve data architecture, and ensure consistency across systems.
- Monitor and resolve data quality issues while contributing to process improvements, automation opportunities, and governance controls.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation to support decision- making, regulatory compliance, and strategic data initiatives.
Desirable skills set:
- Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Lineage, Data Architecture, and NFRR(Non-financial Risk Reporting) principles.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, AWS, and data analytics tools for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify actionable insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast -paced, data-driven environment.

This role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To develop, implement, and maintain effective governance frameworks for all data and records across the bank's global operations.
Accountabilities
- Development and maintenance of a comprehensive data and records governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitoring data quality and records metrics and compliance with standards across the organization.
- Identification and addressing of data and records management risks and gaps.
- Development and implementation of a records management programme that ensures the proper identification, classification, storage, retention, retrieval and disposal of records.
- Development and implementation of a data governance strategy that aligns with the bank's overall data management strategy and business objectives.
- Provision of Group wide guidance and training on Data and Records Management standard requirements.
