International Corporate Banking

Who we're looking for

To be considered for this programme, you must be pursuing an undergraduate degree with anticipated completion between December 2026 - June 2027.

Ideally, you'll be interested in finance and business with a GPA of 3.2 or above. You'll be proactive and a good communicator. We value resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirt, all of which might be showcased through your involvement in extracurricular activities.

Purpose of the role

To participate in the day-to-day activities within the International Corporate Banking division by providing transactional support that help senior colleagues manage key client relationships, make informed decisions, develop new products and services, and identify new opportunities.

Accountabilities

  • Support the management of clients as a key member within the Relationship Team – assist in managing client relationships by responding to queries, supporting onboarding, and contributing to proposals for cash management, trade finance, and lending solutions.

  • Work alongside senior bankers to help identify and manage opportunities within Global Treasury Coverage – with a focus on products and services provided by International Corporate Banking.

  • Preparation of meeting materials, researching sector specific themes, and collaborating with teams across the Investment Bank.

  • Support the end-to-end deal process, including credit analysis, financial modelling, internal committees and documentation for debt facilities and treasury solutions.

  • Identify opportunities for new products and services, contribute to business cases, and assist in launching initiatives that align with sustainability and growth objectives.

  • Take ownership for embedding risk controls, adhering to policies, and escalating breaches appropriately.

  • Participate in structured learning programmers covering credit skills, client management, and treasury coverage products, while seeking continuous improvement through mentorship and feedback.
