As Director HR and Chief DE+I Officer, BASF Corporation, you will be accountable for advocating and leading the HR and DEI strategy on behalf of BASF Corporation in partnership with President & CEO, BASF Corporation.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Enable the HR and DEI agenda for BASF Corporation
  • Drive the organization's talent competitiveness through various initiatives and projects
  • Safeguarding the company's license to operate, ensuring its smooth functioning and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Act as HR Business Partner to President & CEO, BASF Corporation
  • Represent the employee perspective and advocating for their interests
  • Primary ambassador, both internally and externally, for BASF Corporation's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)

As a Chief DEI Officer and Director, HR Services, BASF Corporation, you create chemistry by...

  • Giving guidance to President of BASF Corporation and will be accountable for people related topics
  • Developing and implementing DEI and HR initiatives that contribute to the overall success of the organizatioN
  • Implementing and applying global processes, projects, and initiatives within the region, ensuring alignment with the organization's overarching strategy
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to integrate diversity and inclusion practices into organizational strategy
  • Providing guidance and support to leaders at all levels of the organization to promote a culture of inclusion and belonging
  • Being in charge of compliance escalation and oversight for BASF Corporation
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external organizations and stakeholders to enhance the BASF Corporation’s reputation as a leader in DE&I
  • Assessing and analyzing trends and data related to diversity and inclusion in the workplace
  • Leading employee resource groups to support underrepresented employee populations

If you...

  • Hold extensive experience (10+ years) in HR leadership roles, with a strong track record of successfully developing and implementing HR strategies in large, complex organizations
  • Have Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and align initiatives with the organization's overall strategy and goals
  • Have proven experience in influencing without authority in a complex and matrixed environment
  • Own excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • As a people driven professional, you have a clear communication style that adapts where and when needed
  • Possess demonstrated ability to lead change and drive innovation, with a focus on creating a positive employee experience and a high-performance culture
  • Have demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a passion for making a positive impact on the workplace and broader community
