Area:

In the HUB of Uruguay, we have the Financial Reporting area, which is responsible for ensuring that financial statements are completed properly, complying with local and international regulations. Monthly, quarterly, and annual reports are prepared, working closely with Local Finance, Controlling, and the parent company. At the end of the month, all information is gathered from the SAP System modules, and then we report our Financial and Operational versions in our official system.

Main Objective of the Position:

Act as main support to the Manager in the coordination of activities and deliverables in Financial Reporting.

Main Tasks:

  • Coordinate, organize and monitor the processes execution to ensure quality in terms of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Oversee monthly and month end closing processes, ensuring the quality of the report to the Headquarters.
  • Encourage the implementation of new technologies within FR.
  • Assess and resolve operational issues acting as point of entry and first level of escalation.
  • Promote and support the implementation of process improvements including review of KPIs
  • Provide inputs to the leader regarding the performance of the team and participate in the Performance assessment meetings.
  • Understand the E2E process and be in constant and proactive communication with various clients and stakeholders, working closely with the different areas of the organization.

Requirements for the Position:

  • Education: Accountants (preferable) or bachelor’s in business administration.
  • Working Experience: 5-7.
  • Language Skills: Advanced English.
  • Technical Skills: Solid knowledge in Microsoft Office & IFRS.
  • Soft Skills: Good communication skills.
  • Tools & Technology Skills: Solid knowledge in Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel and Macros is valued.
