Objectives of the Position:

  • Driving strategic growth targets.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to promote products to various applicators and manufacturers in Architectural and Constructions industry.
  • Plan, execute and oversee all sales and promotional activities effectively in both Local and Regional accounts.
  • Building strong customer relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Management:
    • Responsible for growth and achieving strategic targets.
    • Contributing to the development of sales strategies and plans.
    • Execute sales strategies that align with overall business objectives and target market needs
    • Capable of identifying potential prospects and extend product offerings that address their needs.
    • Able to identify changing market conditions or customer buying behavior, and develop strategies to retain existing customers and reduce churn
    • Provide technical assistance to customers, addressing inquiries and concerns related to product performance and formulation.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers to ensure mutual beneficial agreements.
    • Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators related to sales performance
    • Prepare sales forecasts based on historical performance and market trend, and regular performance tracking against targets.

  1. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Overseeing customer relationship, ensuring customer satisfactions and identifying opportunities and customer needs.
    • Development and maintain strong relationships with customers, especially with key stakeholders / decision makers
    • Prioritize customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships.
    • Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve product offerings and service quality.
    • Handling customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally. Making informed and timely decisions to resolve issues.

  1. Market Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes within the industry.
    • Conduct regular competitve analysis to assess market share, product offerings, pricing strategies and sales channels.
    • Stay updated on latest market developement of competitors such as pricing, new product developements and market dynamics.

Job Requirement:

  • Education: Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or relevant major
  • Working Experience:
    • 5 or more years experience in the sales management role
    • Proven track record in managing accounts, driving development and achieving targets
    • Strong growth ambition and leadership skill.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Ability to travel at least 30% of the time
  • Technical & Professional Knowledge:
    • ​​​​​​​Strong (technical) sales background in the coating or adjacent industry.
