Objectives of the Position

  • Support Oleo Surfactants business steering
  • Oleo Surfactants market intelligence consolidation
  • Oleo Surfactants sales support

Main Tasks

Business Steering Report and analysis

  • Regularly update and distribute Business reports on-time.
  • Continue improving report quality and focus more on predictive analytics to identify the likelihoods of future outcomes
  • Monthly business report: focus on previous month volume and margin analysis by subregions and product groups and share Bi-weekly Business performance report by Monday of 2nd and 4th week of the month.
  • Monthly Forecast Volumes, Margins and Net sales business review meeting with Asia Pacific subregions
  • Prepare monthly MIS for Core Leadership Meetings and others Management presentation as required
  • Margin development tracking and future P&L projection – Support the OLEO Surfactants Regional budgeting Process

Business sale supports:

  • Continuously tracking sales performance and able to alert business management and sales team to keep achieving the target.
  • Support to track ongoing sales projects and follow up with sales to keep the project file up to date.
  • Structure tracking of market prices for all key product groups.
  • Support data input for Pricing Tool to refine the target margin and transactional target margin in the tool

Oleo Surfactants market intelligence consolidation:

  • Handle market data collection (Euro Monitor, Mintel and other published data), market analysis and competitive intelligence from different sources and verify against our own sale data to derive market share; continuously update our market demand file
  • Develop a centralized customer location mapping and map against Sulfation and Betaine producers
  • Track raw materials and their trends from ICIS and their influencing factors (weather, harvest, stock level).
  • Data maintenance in market modeler and marketing relevant information systems. -
  • Management support and coordination for marketing information requests.
  • Support market Studies.

Support projects

  • Sales pipeline management and tracking the status of business realization in Sales Force
  • Supporting the rollout of digital projects for the SBU – Care 360
  • Capturing budget activities in EMPOWER tool
  • Utilize corporate digital solution for clear, concise, complete and correct documentation - Bi-yearly Sanitary Check.
  • Visit Reports tracking and track their linkage to Business opportunities in Sales Force
  • Support Projects

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration or Chemistry and Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Minimum 5 years in the field of Business Analysis and experienced in handling large data points and Advanced Excel and Power BI Skills
  • Adaptability to multicultural environment
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Able to identify and exploit business opportunities
